KAMAKURA Area
Kamakura was the political center of Japan in the 12th century when the samurai (warrior class) took control of the country. You can enjoy the temples, Great Buddha, bamboo forests, and old towns that represent samurai culture. Furthermore, the neighboring Shonan beach is Japan's most famous beach for leisure, and is enveloped in a vibrant atmosphere all year round. There are bicycle paths along the coast, making it a great area to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and easily cycle while enjoying Japanese culture and nature.
The starting point of the Kamakura tour is Kita-Kamakura station.
Kita-Kamakura station feature a small wooden station building, and unlike the hustle and bustle around Kamakura station, it has a quiet and calm atmosphere.
KENCHOJI
The temple was founded in 1253 by Tokiyori HOJI in Kamakura. There are many national treasures such as Buddhist bells and important cultural properties, and it is also known as the birthplace of Kenchinjiru.
We will go to Kamakura, but the place where we enter Kamakura has a trace of the old cutting. It goes by in a car in no time, but if it's a E-bike you can enjoy the atmosphere.
TSURUGAOKAHACHIMANGU
There is an ocean near Kamakura. I recommend this course to go to the open sea from a place where you can feel history.
Tsurugaokahachimangu is about a 10-minute walk from kamakura station. there are many shops around kamakura station, and among them, Komachidori is crowded with many tourists. One of them, Tsurugaokahachimangu, is a standard sightseeing spot where you can feel the history.
SHONAN Area
Shonan is an attractive area with a beautiful coastline with a blue sea and white sandy beach.
