Tokyo2020 Road race course
This is a very hard course used at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The actual course is 234km and it goes up about 4800m.
They run this course in about 6 hours.
We can spend 2 days riding one of these courses.
Starting from Sagamihara in Kanagawa prefecture, we head to Lake Yamanaka. It comes with car support so you can move by car on your way home.
Many places on this course have monuments that symbolize olympics.

1st day
First, go through Sagamihara in the city and go up and down the mountain toward Lake Yamanaka.
it's a long way to go but a E-bike will help you.

If you go about half way you can rest because there is a roadside station.

When you get Lake Yamanaka you can see Mt.Fuji so much that you can get rid of your fatigue.

There are many stylish pensions in Lake Ymanaka. I will stay here on the first day.
2nd day
The second day starts at Mt. Fuji.

It is a bicycle monument in Lake Yamanaka.
Lake Yamanaka has a high altitude so it goes down the Kagosaka pass right away. It will speed up so let's go carefully.
we will arrive at Gotenba city when we finish going down. There is a famous Japanese confectionery here.

A long climb awaits from Gotenba.
Go through Fuji safaripark and climb to Mizugatsuka park. it may be cold depending on the season so countermeasures are needed.

It is also famous as a photo spot on Mt. Fuji and you can see Mt. Fuji differently in spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
From here you can get off to Gotenba again immediately.
If you are tired or want to relax, you may want to stay here one more night.

Both sides of the road with this beautiful view are the Ground self defense force's Higashi fuji training ground and you can hear loud noises.

This is the circuit course Fuji Speedway, which is the goal of the Olympic course. You can't usually ride a bicycle in here.
We are finally on our way to the difficulties of this course. This place is intense enough to be a place to compete even during the Olympics.

This is intended to support players of the time.
This snack is called yokan of Toraya.
This road connects Kanagawa and Lake Yamanaka and the following two passes continue. Myoujin pass and Mikuni pass.
It's a tough climb but the ebike supports it.
Ultimately you need a reward. Beyond that, there is a panorama road with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka.

After that you can stay one more night in Lake Yamanaka or drive back to Tokyo.
There are so many charms that i can't introduce here. We can guide everyone about that.
